I had breakfast and it tasted good. I ordered and received a western omelette with hash browns and a biscuit, and coffee to drink. The coffee was diner-standard - black, hot and semi flavorless. The omelette was pretty good, but it's the first one I've ever had where the cook just flopped a slice of American cheese (think Kraft Singles) on top of the omelette. So, I didn't get cheese in every bite. The hash browns should be called hash whites, as the potatoes were cooked but had no color or crispiness to them. And finally, the biscuit tasted good, but felt like a day-old biscuit that had just been run through a microwave.
I meet the owner of this little hole and stain on WV. Let me say I was not at all impressed. She was a short, rude, disrespectful *#@#! She cursed like a sailer and had no respect for others. I truly hope she looses everything she owns and ends up homeless on the street begging for food!
For $12, I expect a much better breakfast than I could get at the likes of a Waffle House. At least the wait staff are friendly and will take care of you. Still a better deal than breakfast at The Greenbrier.
I love it here and have never had a bad experience. Prices are great love laken she always takes good care of us and the food is home cooked food.
We LOVED this quaint little gem. We are staying at a resort and after having not the best service at the restaurants within the resort, nor food that was worth the cost... we decided to try a place outside and we were so happy that we did! We didn't arrive until close to 10:30am and we were starving for some hearty breakfast. Worried that we missed breakfast and learning that they serve it all day was our first sign that this place would be nothing but awesome. I highly recommend everyone venturing out into the town when visiting the resort and realizing that the local restaurants are actually sometimes better than the inside experience.
Just stopped by and had soup m salad from the bar. Very clean restaurant, good service and was pleased with the food.
